This blog is written by Richard Jefferys, Director of the Basic Science, Vaccines & Cure Project at the Treatment Action Group (TAG). The primary purpose of the blog is to provide a source of explanatory information about the monthly updates to TAG’s online listing of HIV cure-related clinical research. Additionally, the blog aims to provide occasional informational updates on HIV research in these areas, with a particular focus on the scientific literature, relevant conference presentations, and news. The blog was established thanks to a generous four-year grant from the Michael J. Palm Foundation, and recently transferred to WordPress due to the closure of Typepad (the host for the past 20 years). We’re grateful to the Gates Foundation and Foundation for AIDS & Immune Research for their current support for TAG’s work tracking the field of HIV cure research.
