Every other year since 2003, researcher Alain Lafeuillade has chaired a workshop on HIV persistence during therapy. The goal of the meeting is to work toward strategies for curing HIV infection, either by eradicating the virus or inducing long-term control of viral replication in the absence of ongoing treatment. The fourth meeting was held in December of 2009, and abstracts and selected slide presentations are now available on the IHL Press website.
